Distressed Flensburg yard FSG declines to guarantee jobs in case of sale

Shipyard Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft has informed employees that it cannot say whether and how many jobs can be saved in the case of a sale. The yard filed for bankruptcy in April.

Bankruptcy-threatened shipyard Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft, FSG, cannot guarantee its employees that their jobs will follow suit in the case of a sale.

The yard is in talks for a potential sale to Hamburg-based shipbuilder Pella Sietas, after FSG was in April declared insolvent by the court in Flensburg.
