
South Korean shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marie Engineering (DSME) has a stated target to dominate the market for autonomous shipping and has therefore entered a new agreement with the Port of Rotterdam, aimed at helping that plan come to fruition, writes South Korean media Yonhap.
DSME and the Dutch port have signed a three-year agreement in which they will collaborate to develop so-called smart technologies" to be used to digitize ports and develop "smartships".
