V.Group assumes management of 16 Xihe vessels

Singapore's tanker shipping company Xihe leaves the technical management of its 16 vessels to V.Group, the two companies confirm. The shipping company is trying, among other things, to free itself from the collapsed Hin Leong group.

V. Group has settled an agreement to take over technical management of 16 tanker vessels that Singapore-based shipping company Xihe previously chartered out to Ocean Tankers under the now-collapsed Hin Leong group.

A few weeks ago, ShippingWatch was able to report of the upcoming agreement about the 16 vessels, which, for Xihe, is also part of the company's efforts to free itself from the Hin Leong group after the latter's spectacular collapse earlier this year.
