A 50-year-old Norwegian national is accused of having shared state secrets with Russia and has now been charged with espionage. He is employed by DNV GL, through which he is in contact with the defense industry, reports Dagens Næringsliv.

A 50-year-old man working for DNV GL has been charged with espionage and for having shared state secrets with Russia, reports Dagens Næringsliv, which has confirmed the state of employment with DNV GL.

The Norwegian man was at a restaurant in Oslo when he was apprehended this weekend. Here he was allegedly meeting with a Russian intelligence officer, says the Norwegian Police Security Service, PST.
