Bunker Holding owner hunts new golden eggs to diversify business

The USTC group is on the hunt for new business legs as a counterweight to the bunker business, but this does not mean a farewell to oil. "When the tanker has delivered the last drop of oil, we'll be the last ones to hang up the keys," says owner Torben Østergaard-Nielsen.

Torben Østergaard-Nielsen is on the hunt for one or more new golden eggs that can create a counterweight to his otherwise lucrative oil business.

Bunker sales have made the 66-year-old Dane a billionaire and one of the richest people in the country. But going forward, Østergaard-Nielsen's ambition is for the USTC Group to add one or more new business legs that can counter the bunker business.
