South Korean shipyard to build ten supertankers

Korea Shipbuilding has secured orders to build a series of supertankers in the coming years, reports local news agency.

South Korean shipyard Korea Shipbuilding has been tasked with building a series of VLCC supertankers in the coming years.

According to news agency Yonhap, the shipbuilder has signed contracts totaling USD 890.5 million to build ten VLCC vessels, scheduled for delivery ahead of March 2023 to unnamed customers.
