Maersk Tankers and Cargill's bunker venture is operational and now has a name

Maersk Tankers and commodity trader Cargill's new bunker venture has launched operations and now has a name. More employees will be hired, and there is room for growth, Cargill's Head of Ocean Transportation tells ShippingWatch

Commodity major Cargill and Maersk Tankers' have launched their joint bunker venture, which has been named Pure Marine Fuels, Jan Dieleman, Head of Cargill Ocean Transportation, confirms to ShippingWatch.

"It's operational, which is good to see. We're basically combining the procurement of fuels for us and Maersk Tankers," explains Dieleman.
