Bunker Holding to invest in supply of sustainable fuels

Bunker major Bunker Holding has a sustainable strategy in the works, preparing the company for fewer bunker sales to shipping in the future. "We are looking into acquisitions within production and logistics for sustainable energy," CEO tells ShippingWatch.

Although oil will continue to be a dominating energy source in the coming decades, oil major Bunker Holding now prepares for a more sustainable future with fewer fossil fuels and more sustainable alternatives for the shipping industry.

Bunker Holding has a new strategy in the works with Boston Consulting Group, expected to be completed in the next few months and implemented in the beginning of 2022, says Bunker Holding CEO Keld R. Demant in an interview with ShippingWatch.
