Defense in Dan-Bunkering case targets acquittal and criticizes DKK 400 million fine demand

Bunker Holding, Dan-Bunkering and the CEO of Bunker Holding should be acquitted. The prosecution hasn't presented sufficient evidence, said defense attorneys during the proceedings.

The three defense attorneys representing Bunker Holding, Dan-Bunkering and Group CEO Keld R. Demant demands nothing less than acquittal of the accused in the case of Dan-Bunkering, as stated Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Danish State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime (SØIK) hasn't proven that the accused had either negligently or intentionally sold or delivered jet fuel to sanctioned Syria, the defense said during proceedings in the Court of Odense, Southern Denmark.
