Sale of South Korean shipyard approved by Vietnam

The divestment of major yard DSME to a private conglomerate comes one step closer after Vietnamese approval. Several authorities are still probing the deal.

Vietnam’s competition authorities have approved the sale of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) to industrial group Hanwha, reports news agency Yonhap.
