Wärtsila: Evergas order is a milestone

For the first time, Wärtsila will supply an integrated solution for a tank shipping company, and it will hopefully be the first of many times, says Jens Karlsson, general manager of ship power sales, to ShippingWatch.

This winter, Evergas decided to expand its fleet considerably, and as a supplier for the ships, Evergas chose to work with Wärtsila on gas engines and a cargo treatment system for the ships. This marks the first time that Wärtsila supplies such an integrated solution to a tanker shipping company, and hopefully it'll be the first of many times, says Jens Karlsson, general manager of ship power sales, to ShippingWatch.
