Seafreight drives growth at Kuehne+Nagel

Seafreight in particular serves as a growth engine for Kuehne+Nagel in the third quarter, in which the Swiss freight forwarder increased its revenue by 4.2 percent, to USD 4.71 billion.

Kuehne+Nagel's top line continued to grow in the 3rd quarter where the Swiss freight forwarder increased its revenue by 4.2 percent, to USD 4.71 billion, a development especially attributed to growth in seafreight.

And the Swiss company increased its profit even more, as the result from primary operations, EBIT, grew 8.2 percent, to USD 221.2 million, and the bottom line grew 9.2 percent, to USD 175.1 million in the quarter.
