Shipyard Fayard, one of the prominent players in the Baltic region, finished 2014 in stronger form than expected, and 2015 "already looks pretty good," CEO Thomas Andersen tells ShippingWatch.

The conversion of two Scandlines ferries and a series of scrubber installation contracts contributed to increased activity at Fayard, Denmark's biggest shipyard, in the fall of 2014 - and even more activity than the yard expected at the beginning of the year.

"We've had a fair year and especially a fall 2014 with more activity than usual, and right now 2015 looks pretty good judging by the first months," Thomas Andersen, CEO and owner of Fayard, tells ShippingWatch.
