Desmi appeals US rejection

Desmi Ocean Guard appeals the US Coast Guard's rejection of the testing method, which Desmi has used as the base of its application for approval in US waters. Desmi will also investigate, when an organism is living, says CEO Rasmus Folsø to ShippingWatch.

Desmi Ocean Guard, which saw its ballast water management system shot down by the US Coast Guard (USCG) in December 2015, is now appealing the decision, the company writes in a press release Tuesday.
