No orders for major Korean shipyards in January

Business has dried up for the top three Korean shipyards, Hyundai Heavy Industries (HH), Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) and Samsung Heavy Industries, which have all gone through January without winning a single new order.

All is quiet in the shipbuilding industry, and this is evident at the three major Korean yards, Hyundai Heavy Industries (HH), Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) and Samsung Heavy Industries. In the month of January 2016, these shipbuilders have not received a single order, reports newspaper Korean Joongang Daily.
