Alfa Laval plans world's largest LNG test facility

The world's largest test facility for environmental and combustion technologies, regardless of fuel type, will be located in Denmark where Alfa Laval plans to expand its existing facilities fivefold in anticipation of a boom in the use of LNG as ship fuel.

Alfa Laval plans to test the future use of LNG as ship fuel on land, namely in Aalborg, Denmark, where an existing test facility will be expanded from 250 to 1,350 square meters to create the - according to Alfa Laval - world's largest test center for environmental and combustion technologies for ships - a facility that in full scope will be able to test all maritime environmental technologies for all fuel types.
