South Korean yards left with empty order books

The crisis in the international shipbuilding sector means that South Korea's yards have to look far and wide for new orders. Combined, the three major yards have only received one order in the first quarter of the year.

The decline on the international ship market is hitting the South Korean yards hard, and the shipbuilders are now scaling down projections for the full year.
