Kvaerner switches CFO at rapid notice

Kvaerner has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer after the current CFO, Eiliv Gjesdal, is stepping down with almost immediate effect.

Norwegian subcontractor Kvaerner ASA will bid farewell to its current CFO, Eiliv Gjesdal (photo) on April 6th, 2016.

The Chief Financial Officer, who has been with the company for five years, will step down in order to seek out new opportunities. However, he will stay with Kvaerner in a consulting capacity until his notice period ends. And his replacement is already lined up to take the job, Kvaerner writes in a statement Tuesday.
