Alfa Laval sees marine earnings slide in Q1

Though the order intake at Alfa Laval's marine division increased in the first quarter of the year, the business division's operating profit noted a setback.

The marine division at Sweden's Alfa Laval received more orders in the first three months of the year due mainly to positive developments in pump systems and a slight rise in demand for the company's ballast water management systems.
