Statoil books adjusted operating result of USD 2.3 billion

Statoil booked an adjusted operating result of USD 2.3 billion in the third quarter, and trims USD 1 billion off investments for the full-year 2017. "We are getting more for less," says CEO Eldar Sætre.

Norwegian oil major Statoil has booked an adjusted operating result of USD 2.3 billion in this year's third quarter, shows the interim report Thursday morning CET. This is an increase over the same period last year, in which the oil company achieved an operating result of USD 636 million.
