Ex-Statoil CEO sets a new European salary record

The former Statoil CEO's new salary package at BG Group is also a topic of debate in the UK, according to the Evening Standard.

Helge Lund's switch from Norwegian Statoil to British BG Group will make him the best paid CEO in the European oil industry, reports the Evening Standard with reference to a Bloomberg survey, according to Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv.
