40,000 Norwegian oil workers have lost their jobs

The number of dismissed employees in the Norwegian oil industry will remain the same, although the oil price has increased since January of this year, notes DNB Markets according to Norwegian media.

Mass layoffs in Norwegian offshore have now surpassed more than 40,000 employees who have lost their jobs since the decline in the oil price pulled the rug out form under oil companies' investments in oil and gas projects.
