APM Terminals hosts Indian shipping minister

The Indian minister for shipping visited APM Terminals’ headquarters last week. The visit came at a time when APM Terminals is in the final stages of a bidding war to build and operate a container terminal in Calcutta.

On Tuesday, July 23rd, APM Terminals hosted Indian minister of shipping, Milind Deora, at the company’s new headquarters in The Hague. The minister also toured the Maasvlakte II area, where APM Terminals will open a new container terminal in late 2014. The Indian visit came at a time when APM Terminals is one of a few chosen operators competing for a contract to build and operate a container terminal in Calcutta, India.
