Germany's Herz family exits DNV GL after four years

Mayfair, owned by Germany's Herz family, sells its 36.5 percent stake in classification bureau DNV GL to Norwegian DNV Holding AS. Det Norske Veritas and Mayfair's Germanischer Lloyd merged in 2012.

The world biggest classification bureau DNV GL is now completely Norwegian again after Germany's Herz family has sold its 36.5 percent stake to DNV Holding AS.
