DNV GL books half-year deficit

Classification bureau DNV GL suffered a bottom line loss in the first half of the year, and saw its number of employees dip. The problems in shipping will last until 2018, and even longer for offshore, CEO Remi Eriksen tells Finansavisen.

DNV GL had another challenging first half of the year in 2017.

According to classification bureau's results, released to Norwegian media Finansavisen, the company finished the first half of the year with a slide in revenue and number of employees, as well as a negative result for the period.
