DSV raises its Panalpina offer

DSV has submitted a higher cash offer to buy Panalpina, which the Danish transport and logistics group has been trying to acquire for weeks. The news comes after Panalpina on Friday confirmed preliminary talks with Kuwaiti logistics company.

DSV has raised its offer to buy Panalpina, after making an initial bid in mid-January, says the Danish logistics company in a notice to the stock exchange Friday.

The bid was raised to a cash offer of CHF 180 (USD 178) per share from initially CHF 170. DSV raised the offer on Feb. 6, but has not disclosed the raised offer till now. Panalpina confirms that it received the revised offer and is reviewing it.
