Maersk sells Dansk Supermarked for USD 3 billion

A.P. Moeller-Maersk hands over its majority ownership stake in retailer Dansk Supermarked Group to the Salling Group, says the two parties Tuesday morning.

Following a 50 year partnership between A.P. Moeller-Maersk and the Salling Group the two parties agreed on Tuesday to hand over the majority stake in Dansk Supermarked Group (Dansk Supermarked A/S and F. Salling A/S) to the Salling Companies (F. Salling Invest A/S and F. Salling Holding A/S), says A.P. Moeller-Maersk in a press release Tuesday morning.
