Maritime & Merchant Bank to launch on April 1st

Oslo-based Maritime & Merchant Bank has been approved by the Norwegian authorities, and the new Norwegian shipping bank will open for business on April 1st, the bank's CEO, Halvor Sveen, tells ShippingWatch.

On Tuesday the Norwegian shipping bank Maritime & Merchant received final approval from the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA), and the bank's CEO, Halvor Sveen, and his team, can now start working toward the actual launch of the bank.
