Panalpina grows on seafraight

Panalpina follows the same trend as competitor Kuehne+Nagel with an 8 percent improvement for the company's seafreight division in the first half of the year.

Swiss logistics group Panalpina successfully managed to grow its seafreight business. Volumes increased a total of 8 percent in the first half of the year, according to the interim report.

This is the exact same growth achieved by Panalpina and DSV's competitor - Kuehne+Nagel - in the first half of the year. Panalpina states that the market for seafreight as a whole only grew by 3 percent in the period.
