German shipowners want EU to act on crises that threaten shipping

Geopolitical crises make life more dangerous for carriers and seafarers. Europe must react faster to threats to shipping, say German shipowners.

The German Shipowners’ Association VDR warns that the current geopolitical risks require action from the EU member states, as the conditions for global shipping have changed radically in recent years.
