New heavy lift pool wants more carriers to join

The market for multipurpose and heavy lift will likely not see any significant improvements this year or in 2015 in the guise of improved rates, Svend Andersen, CEO of BBC Chartering, tells ShippingWatch following the announcement of a new pool collaboration between Briese Schiffahrt and Harren & Partner with 15 vessels so far that will be operated by their respective companies, BBC Chartering and Combi Lift.
