The two dry bulk carriers Golden Ocean and Knightsbridge Shipping Limited, which both belong to Norwegian John Fredriksen's shipping empire, have now completed the merger of the two carriers, says Golden Ocean in a statement to the Oslo stock exchange.

The deal is to be approved and finalized at a general assembly, but this is mostly a formality. Meanwhile Golden Ocean has announced that the carrier will be de-listed from the Singapore stock exchange. According to the carrier, this will not affect trade of the company's stock on the Oslo exchange.
