Owner: J. Lauritzen is on its own now

Lauritzen Fonden will not be injecting more money into its dry bulk carrier J. Lauritzen in 2016. The carrier now has the necessary framework in place to manage over the coming year, the Manager of owner Lauritzen Fonden tells ShippibgWatch.

The struggling dry bulk carrier J. Lauritzen must stand on its own two feet in 2016, says the carrier's owner, fund Lauritzen Fonden, after having injected millions of dollars into J. Lauritzen. Now it is the carrier's job to pull through, says Lauritzen Fonden's management.
