Lightship: Former partner hit us with huge claims
Contracts signed by a former partner at Lightship Chartering have made the broker agency subject to sizeable claims, writes senior management headed by owner and Chairman Morten Have in the broker's financial report.

Unfortunate circumstances rained down on broker Lightship Chartering in 2015, and the company finished the fiscal year with a net loss of USD 2.4 million. Several factors apart from the extreme downturn in dry bulk are behind the worst result in years at the Danish broker house which is accusing a former senior partner of making the company subject to huge claims from customers.
