SeaIntel: Impossible for shippers to compare carbon footprints of carriers

It does not make sense to compare the calculations that container carriers make of their carbon footprints. In a new analysis, SeaIntel writes that the shippers cannot really determine whether one carrier is more green than another.

It is virtually impossible for shippers to figure out which container carriers are the greenest, according to a new analysis from SeaIntel, which has compared how container carriers calculate their carbon emissions per container.
