Maersk has listened to criticism of its digital platform

Maersk and IBM have listened to the criticism of their new digital platform which was delivered by competitors earlier this year. "We are absolutely open to develop this as an industry neutral platform," says the head of the project to ShippingWatch.

It did not take long from Maersk's announcement of its digital collaboration with IBM until the first criticisms poured in.

Most notable was the criticism from rivals Hapag-Lloyd and CMA CGM, which both struggled to imagine themselves using a trading platform owned by the biggest competitor on the market.
