Former Eimskip CEO wants competition case closed

Icelandic authorities' investigation into Eimskip and its management is illegal as well as flawed, says former Eimskip CEO, who wants the investigation stopped.

Eimskip's former chief executive accuses Icelandic authorities for breaking the law in its investigation into a long-running competition case against the shipping company and its management.

According to Gylfi Sigfússon, who served as Eimskip CEO until recently, the investigation has been illegal and flawed. Thus, he has requested that a Reykjavik court stop it, informs Eimskip in a statement.
