Eimskip eliminates 73 positions

Icelandic shipping company Eimskip now eliminates 73 full-time positions as part of a comprehensive "streamlining" measure. Furthermore, CEO Vilhelm Már Þorsteinsson takes a 10-percent pay cut. This is necessary due to the results in recent years, he says.

A total of 73 positions will be eliminated at Icelandic shipping company Eimskip.

Of these, 47 positions will go in Iceland, where the company is headquartered, according to a press release.
