Container rates continue to skyrocket

Container rates from China to the rest of the world continued to soar last week for the 11th consecutive week.

Rates for container freight from China to the rest of the world continued to climb last week for the 11th consecutive week, with the Europe routes driving up the index the most.

This is clear from the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index, SCFI, which measures the spot price on container freight from Shanghai to a series of destinations across the globe.
