Toft on departure from Maersk: I felt ready to try something new

After 25 years with Maersk, Søren Toft was ready for new challenges, says the new MSC Chief Executive in an interview with Børsen, wherein he puts some words on his talks with MSC's owner, the Aponte family.

With his departure from Maersk, Søren Toft was ready for new challenges outside of the Danish group, which he was part of for 25 years, he says in an interview with Børsen about the switch to family-owned MSC, where he just took over as new CEO.

"Maersk is a fantastic company that has given me incredible opportunities and has taught me a great deal. I'm grateful for that, but I also felt ready to try something new – to develop myself further as a human being and as a manager," Toft tells Børsen about the switch.
