Maersk Line back as most reliable carrier

After Hamburg Süd has repeatedly claimed the title as the most reliable carrier in the world ahead of Maersk Line, the Danish carrier is now back in first place, according to a new study by SeaIntel.

Maersk Line reclaimed the throne as the most reliable container carrier in March, ahead of Hamburg Süd and United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), according to a new study performed by SeaIntel Maritime Analysis.

The major container carriers' combined schedule reliability improved for the first time since November 2013, by 4.2 percentage points, up to 72.3 percent.
