Drewry: Hamburg Süd to strengthen alliance

It is likely just a matter of time before the Ocean Three container alliance becomes Ocean Four, as Latin America-specialist Hamburg Süd looks set to join the alliance as a full-fledged member in a move that will give the collaboration an edge.

It will likely only be a matter of time before container alliance Ocean Three changes its name to Ocean Four, when Latin America-specialist Hamburg Süd likely joins the collaboration as a full-fledged member and not just a cooperation partner, according to analyst agency Drewry.

Ocean Three currently covers France's CMA CGM,  China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) and Arabian UASC.
