Seago Line lands profit of USD 166 million

Maersk Line's European feeder and short sea carrier Seago Line improved its result in 2014, according to the annual report. Beyond expectations, writes the management and expects a lower level this year.

Earlier this year, when the now former CEO of Seago Line Jakob Bomholt assessed the carrier's performance in 2014, he described last year as "volatile but sound."

An assessment that almost seems too cautious with the final result for 2014, where Seago Line achieved a profit of USD 166 million, according to the annual report. In 2013, the carrier had a profit of USD 124 million.
