Maersk Line facing miserable 2016

With the exception of North America, rates have plummeted on all of Maersk Line's routes, and this applies especially to the carrier's key services to and from Europe and Latin America.

In light of an expected growth in global demand of just 1-3 percent in 2016 and the prospects of continuing low rates, Maersk Line is currently looking at a year for which the world's largest container carrier projects a significantly lower result than in 2015.
