Media: More power to Robert Uggla in a fragmented Maersk

A split of the Maersk conglomerate would make Robert Maersk Uggla's position as CEO in the Maersk foundation more important than it is today, analysts tell Danish media Børsen.

If the Maersk board makes good on its proposal to split up the conglomerate into independent, listed entities, and the position of Group CEO thus disappears, then the heir, Robert Maersk Uggla, will gain more power, analyst tells Danish business daily Børsen on Monday.
