Höegh LNG cuts deficit in first quarter

Norwegian LNG carrier Höegh LNG managed to reduce its deficit in the first quarter this year compared to last year. The company changed its business in 2014 to focus more on LNG infrastructure.

Höegh LNG finished the first quarter this year with a deficit of USD 1.9 million, an improvement from the first quarter 2014 where the carrier suffered a deficit of USD 4.5 million. The combined first quarter revenue in the first three months of the year came to USD 46.9 million, down from USD 51.3 million in the same period last year.
