Stena Bulk will not be following in the steps of other tanker carriers looking for a public listing. Carriers such as Gener8 Maritime, which on Tuesday announced plans to pursue a New York IPO, or Euronav, which was listed earlier this year and thus raised significant funds to boost operations. Or like Hafnia Tankers, which a few weeks ago announced that the company had submitted an application to the New York Stock Exchange ahead of a potential IPO, Stena Bulk CEO Erik Hånell tells Lloyd's List.
Stena Bulk operates a fleet of 120 tanker vessels, with more underway.
