Ardmore CEO: Strong product tanker rates will return

MR medium sized product tankers may see a short-term softening of rates, says Ardmore Shipping's CEO, Anthony Gurnee, following the release of the half-yearly report Tuesday.

Irish Ardmore Shipping, which is among the smaller in the circle of clean product tanker vessels, delivered a result of USD 5.5 million in the second quarter of 2016 against 7.9 million in the same period last year.  For the first half-year, profit landed at 12.2 million USD against 13 million USD last year.
