Svitzer accused of sidelining joint venture partner

Svitzer's Argentinian partner accuses the towage company of having formed a joint venture and then sidelining its partner, according to several media. Svitzer disagrees, and the case has thus wound up in court.

Maersk Group's towage shipping company Svitzer finds itself in an open dispute with its Argentinian joint venture partner Meridian Maritime, which accuses the Danish company of having milked the partnership's company Madero Amarres of business.
