Klaveness company secures green credit facility

Klaveness Combination Carrier has settled a new credit facility in which the price is tied to the company's ability to reduce its carbon emissions. The loan will finance two new ships, set for delivery in 2021.

Klaveness Combination Carriers has secured a green loan and credit facility of USD 60 million to be used for the purchase of two new ships.

The two ships will be number seven and eight in line of the so-called CLEANBU vessels, set for delivery in 2021, according to a press release.
